Our team is planning the 5th Annual Teal Luncheon on September 16th, so get excited. This luncheon will support the LSU Health New Orleans Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Section of Gynecologic Oncology and will be used to support the areas of greatest need for Gynecologic Oncology, such as:
To support patients as they pursue cancer care, especially underserved women
To support scientific discovery through high-quality cancer research
To promote a culture of learning, yielding the highest quality women’s health providers for years to come
Our Foundation supports the LSU Health Sciences Center which includes the Section of Gynecologic Oncology. Their mission is to set the standard for premier gynecologic cancer care and promote high-value healthcare delivery for all women in Louisiana and across the Gulf Coast and beyond through academic rigor, empowerment, leadership and equity. They have made tremendous strides over the last several years bringing innovative treatment options to the women of our region and building infrastructure to overcome barriers to excellent care.
The section of Gynecologic Oncology is nationally recognized for success promoting discovery and evidence-based care. In close collaboration with our community and the women they serve, they have been able to drive robust improvement in the quality and accessibility of gynecologic cancer care in our region.
